The Mundaring Weir Hotel is a Heritage Listed establishment, originally built for the workers and visitors to the nearby Mundaring Weir back in 1898. Less than 1 hour from the heart of Perth, via roads ideal for a pleasant cruise by car or bike, the Hotel provides the perfect venue for a social outing. The extensive grounds provide the perfect chilled atmosphere, and there is something to do for kids of all ages. Explore history, and browse the artifacts collected over the 30 years that the Hotel has been in the hands of the current owner, Jens Jorgensen. Shaded / misted / heated / indoor / outdoor areas. The Hotel features 10 motel-style rooms tucked away in the grounds, all featuring reverse cycle air con, TV/DVD, microwave etc, and every room has an open fireplace with supplied firewood (in season.) Sundays are celebrated with a Traditional Lamb Spit Roast, carved at 3pm to 4pm (unless sold out), and a live Bush Band in the beergarden from 2pm – 5pm. Breakfast and lunch available daily.
