The top 36 ranked male and top 18 ranked female surfers in the world will descend upon the Margaret River Region to surf its world-class waves in April.

The event is expected to see thousands of spectators flock to Surfer's Point in Prevelly to watch the world's best surfer's take on the famous Margaret River Mainbreak

Quit Forest Rally is the Western Australia round of the Australian Rally Championship. It attracts Australia's best rally drivers for a weekend of fast and challenging competition. The rally also has a category for motorbikes.

The rally is hosted in the picturesque seaside town of Busselton and the historic township of Nannup.

Spectators are able to get up close to the action at Barnard Park on Friday evening and then again around Nannup over the weekend. The main street of Nannup is turned into a rally Service Park over the weekend giving everybody a chance to get to see the cars being worked on, talk to the crews and enjoy the local cafes.

This is the first race of the Half Ironman qualifying series for Ironman Western Australia and is the Western Australian State Long Course Championships.

New events scheduled for the Sunday will be announced soon. Kids event is Friday. Competitor check in/registration is compulsory on Friday between 9-5pm.

The Albany Classic Motor Event is run through the heart of Albany's CBD, overlooking the ANZAC Peace Park and Princess Royal Harbour.

This spectacle of historic motor sport presents a wide variety of cars from vintage wire wheels, post-vintage and classics as well as open wheel racers and big cube muscle cars.

There are more than 12,000 species of wildflowers in WA, making it the world's largest collection. It's a staggering sight to behold, especially when you consider 60% of Western Australian wildflowers are found nowhere else on Earth.

The Ironman Western Australia Triathlon will see competitors swim, ride and run a grueling 226 kilometre course while spectators experience the athleticism of a world-class sporting event.

More than 1,500 Australian and international triathletes will tackle the gruelling yet fast course consisting of a 3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42.2km marathon.

Over 5000 spectators will witness the event, which offers 40 qualifying spots for the pinnacle event, Ironman Hawaii.

The Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival is an annual celebration of the wonderful community that exist in and around the town of Manjimup, in the South-West region of Western Australia. There are several small activities and fundraising occasions spread out over the calender year that build up to a huge two day festival, timed to coincide with the annual cherry harvest during the first few days of summer.

The Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival celebrates the cultural diversity of Manjimup promoting the horticultural products, such as cherries, that are grown in the region. The festival includes a wide range of activities such as a long table lunch, pip spitting competition, street theatre and entertainment.

Over two weeks, visitors will be able to enjoy art exhibitions, open studios, workshops, demonstrations, artist talks and public art displays at around 65 venues in the Great Southern region.

More than 250 artists will take part in this annual event which takes place in several of the region's towns including Albany, Denmark, Mount Barker, Kojonup, Franklin River, Walpole and Porongurup.

The Blues at Bridgetown Festival is an annual blues music event held over three days in the spectacular settings of the Bridgetown townsite, 272kms south-east of Perth. The Blues at Bridgetown Festival has been held annually on the second weekend in
November since 1993.

The program showcases an all-embracing & diverse range of blues music for in excess of 170 hours of music at various venues around the town. A spectacular street party is held all day Saturday which features a variety of entertainment, a fabulous market stall area and a fantastic variety of food stalls.

The SunSmart Busselton Jetty Swim will take place on the morning of Sunday 14th February 2016. As always, it will be a weekend of family fun on the Busselton foreshore as we celebrate the 21st birthday of this iconic event.

Individual competitors and teams of two and four persons will swim the 3.6 km course out and around Busselton's most famous landmark in Geographe Bay. But with only 2000 places available in total, enter early to avoid the disappointment of missing out!

Registrations open on Thursday 01 October 2015 with an early bird prize-draw for those who register before midnight (WA time) on Monday 30 November 2015. Entry is $60.00 per person, and will close on Thursday 31 December 2015, unless sold out prior.

Orchids: named specimens from the Albany Region; always very popular with enthusiasts and photographers.

District Display: Vases of specimens representing all that is spectacular from different areas, connected to a spot on the map, so that people can see where they come from. The display highlights the biodiversity of the region.

Home Grown: Vases of specimens collected from the gardens of Wildflower Society members.

A special Display for 2015 provided by: South Coast Natural Resource Management, Cultural Heritage Team.

The Collie Speedway has some of the top events in the south west. Upcoming events include the QUIT Collie Speedway Championship Spectacular, Production Sedans Speed Cars Wild West Series, Late Models Pro Dirt Series, and the AMCA State Championships.

The Collie Sunday Trots are on again this summer over the months of February and March 2015. Held every fortnight, the trots include tote and bookmaker, bar and food, a tipping competition, punter's club and pony trots.

There will also be a children's bike given away at every meet and a chocolate wheel. The chocolate wheel is free to enter with entry forms in the race book and lots of great prizes on offer. The major prize is a holiday for up to six people at the Kalbarri Beach Resort.

Royal Perth Yacht Club is proud be the Organising Authority for the on-water events and working in conjunction with Port Geographe Marina to present Club Marine Geographe Bay Raceweek 2015.
