The Goldfields premier event - a week long extravaganza of horse racing, pacing and partying. The Round is a week long event planned around the three major race meetings held during that time which culminates with Australia`s biggest party, the running of the $140,000 Gold Kalgoorlie Cup. The Round is an iconic event which has been conducted for more than 100 years which provides a full week of activities in addition to the three major horse race meetings. The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club annual Race Round has become an institution in the Goldfields and every year thousands head trackside for one of WA’s biggest and best parties.
