Settlers Tavern
Australia's South West - Margaret River
Return to Country Pub list

Settlers Tavern is one of the busiest restaurants in Margaret River, "a come as you are venue" that feels like the true Aussie Pub, where you will rub shoulders with winemakers, families, local punters, surfers and tourists. The Tavern serves its full menu - a diverse selection of boldly flavoured dishes of "gastro-pub" quality - all-day, every-day inside or outside in the heated beer gardens. Local produce is plentiful - lamb, huge steaks and the famous "Reef and Beef." Wine lovers can find something interesting from the eclectic award winning wine list with 25 by-the-glass and over 130 bottles on the list featuring local, interstate and overseas wines, as well as esoteric and harder to find wines. And when the sun goes down on Friday and Saturday nights the Tavern transforms into a top entertainment venue and has played host to numerous local, national and international artists. The Sunday Session lives on with live blues/roots every week, bring the whole family for a chilled out afternoon in the front beer garden. Settlers Tavern is an innovator within the music industry with its online www.myspace.com/settlerstavernmusic site featuring upcoming shows and artists. Not to forget Karaoke Monday nights and Acoustic open mic Wednesday's, where the world class stage and sound system invites amateurs to have a go. Day-in and Day-out, the front bar offers respite for local tradesman and travellers alike. Drop in for a punt at the busy PUBTAB, or challenge one of the locals to a game of pool.
